Summer Surprises.

Adam’s Angels Ministry is the Signature Sponsor for the Summer Surprises Party held around the middle of July at MD Anderson Cancer Center Children’s Cancer Hospital. We collaborate and work alongside Candlelighters. Our Angel volunteers help with the set-up, meeting and greeting the patients, handing out donated, wrapped gifts according to their age, in addition to providing lunch, sweets, crafts and entertainment to all of the childhood cancer patients and their siblings. It brings some “holiday” cheer in the middle of summer to children undergoing treatment at the cancer center.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions at the hospitals, Summer Surprises has become a socially distanced, drive-thru event held off of the hospital premises. This event is subject to change from year-to-year according to the COVID-19 restrictions in place at the hospitals.
